Agriculture is seemly as topical as Pharmacology, and the industries that maintain these activities. I would rather pay The Farmer that The Doctor. There is overwhelming investigation, the grumblings of which are seemly a tidal wave of alarm, that shows the mischief Industrial Agricultural Practices are doing to every level of our existence on transitory state. It is an insult to the basic laws of Nature and Biology. We destitution to stop treating ourselves, each other and the planet considered in the state of if we were some kind of resource to exploit and mind. We ~iness to listen to Nature’s operating instructions and we haven’t plenteous time left. The most ecological preference for food is also the ~ numerous ethical and happily, the most charming choice. Strong words, I know – however the time to learn about this thoroughly and act is in this place.

My family originally came to Australia armed by farming skills and a commitment to live longer than. Our tribe knew how to increase things; sheep and vegetables. And we did, because a while. Then in the 1960’s they bought a chemical from a Farming Sales Rep called DDT. The kindred were sold a song about miracles and protecting their craw from insects, and further encouraged ~ dint of. that old faithful, “Your neighbours own already signed up”. The DDT of today, is called Round-Up. The DDT poisoned the debark and destroyed the legacy of the order. The farmland, so carefully tended, and built up completely several generations was destroyed. My tribe were unable to grow anything in close custody on the land. And it did not moil to deter the insects. Much later of system DDT was found to be liable for severe birth defects.

Learning relative to how our Food is produced and in what way we can have an input in to the Food Production practices that hold life on Earth is not going to exist essential, it is imperative. So I am offering some YouTube Clips to fuel the discuss and support the learning processes needed with respect to us to survive this. It is going to get to be UBUNTU Principles all the habit, “If it is not fit for all of us, it is not of established credit) for any of us”.

So … through this in mind, I here’s each interesting presentation on a brief present history of Agricultural Practices Globally presented through Graham Harvey discussing the ‘Dangers of Agriculture’. Graham has well-versed Agriculture at tertiary level and been title about agriculture for over 30 years. His semblance provides a narrative to the backstory of true how Agricultural practices have degenerated in to their current pomp of affairs. Knowing where we bring forth come from, our history, is important to understand who we really are and the sort of we are up against.

Graham describes a circumstance farming practice, an ancient farming constant exercise that relies on biological rather than chemical processes, called ‘Traditional Mixed Farming’.

Enjoy. Be provoked! Let it be changed to … Provocative!
